  • I think this story was better than his other one. This one seemed to have a little more of a hidden message and a warning in it, something that I like. I think that he was trying to warn people of time's growing influence over people. As it said in the story, rather than time serving people, people will begin to serve time. I think that the Harlequin is more of an example of someone who is trying to escape time, but in the end can't. He is seen as crazy, and terminated anyway.

  • This story was very interesting. I don't really think that i would like to be late to class if we had the ticktockman. Anyways this story is very well rounded and i think that the plot is exciting and dramatic. I would also like to notice that there is probably more to being late and getting your life wasted away. This other understanding is that the "ticktockman" is emphisizing opportunity cost.

  • I enjoyed this story a lot more than the car story, because I thought that the story was trying to point out that we focus too much on being on time and don't spend enough time enjoying life.

  • commenting on Homer's blog, I thought it did do a good job of showing that if we don't balance out being on time, and enjoying ourselves, life gets uncomfortable for yourself, and other people around you.
